EXCLUSIVE: Wydad Casablanca Signs With Kappa

Big news out of Casablanca — Opaleak has learned that Wydad Athletic Club will end their kit deal with Macron and sign with Kappa starting from the 2025/26 Botola Pro season.

Sources close to the club confirm that the iconic Italian brand will take over kit production from next season, bringing an end to Wydad’s partnership with Macron, which began in 2020. Nothing official yet.

Kappa Kits for the Club World Cup

Wydad Will debut the Kappa kits at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

What to Expect from Kappa

Kappa is known for its sleek, athletic silhouettes, retro-inspired designs, and the famous “Omini” logo — usually featured prominently on the shoulders and sleeves. Their kits often lean into minimalist styling with bold accents, which could signal a new look for the Red Castle. We think that for the first year, Kappa will only provide teamwear kits.

It’s a fresh move for both sides — Kappa gains a high-profile presence in Moroccan and African football, and Wydad gets a chance to rebrand on and off the pitch with a globally recognized supplier.

Stay tuned to Opaleak for early looks and kit leaks as the 2025/26 season approaches. 👀
